The new fire station in South San Francisco will be a part of a new civic campus that includes a library police station. Station 63 will be a two-story structure with a 3-bay, 2-deep apparatus bay, capable of housing a variety of apparatus. The station will be a safe, modern facility designed to increase operational efficiency and reduce response times, while providing a healthier working environment for crews. The design also allows an increase in diversity for firefighters and provides modern living, dining, and sleepĀing facilities for male and female firefighters.
