Lincoln Community Resilience and Recreation Center

The new Lincoln Recreation Center aims to create a destination for civic, cultural, social, educational, and recreational activities in Oakland Chinatown, with multi-purpose rooms, a vegetated roof garden, high school size basketball court, a stage, a kitchen, offices for staff, a lobby area, and restrooms.

The project also improves site lighting, perimeter fencing and security, addresses storm water run-off and beautifies the park with new landscaping and outdoor furniture. It will also serve as a community resiliency center in extreme weather conditions. The proposed project will result in a park with improved facilities that better serves the recreational needs and emergency resources of the community.
