The Peralta Oaks North project is a major renovation of a 107,000 square foot office building to be the future home of East Bay Regional Park District’s Public Safety Headquarters. This four-story building will provide office and support spaces for a 135 person police department as well as District offices for 70 occupants. Shah Kawasaki Architects (SKA) will perform a feasibility study to relocate the District Boardroom from their administrative facility
to this location. The project scope also includes a seismic retrofit to upgrade the building to meet Essential Service Building requirements and the installation of a radio communications tower to integrate the facility with the EBRCSA radio network.
