Daniel approaches architecture as an expression of art and problem solving.  Design is a fascinating challenge to him. The architecture program at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo confirmed his love of the collaborative studio environment. Early in his career he had the privilege of working on a wide variety of projects locally and internationally, scaling from sustainable master plans down to a creative office’s secret speak easy door. With each new project he sees an opportunity for collaboration, learning, and to positively influence space and people. Embracing his role at SKA as project architect, he is focused on technical detailing’s impact on form, function, and constructability.

In his free time, he enjoys gardening and designing custom aquaponics systems.  He appreciates the lessons nature has to offer and is inspired by the dynamic self-sufficient ecosystems it can create.
