Moving Up: Chenglong Tsai

Shah Kawasaki Architects is proud to announce the promotion of Chenglong Tsai to Associate. Since joining the firm, Cheng has provided valuable design work with a meticulous attention to detail, raising the bar along the way.

When asked about Cheng’s contributions to the firm, Principal Alan Kawasaki said, “Cheng is an architect’s architect. At UC Berkeley he was awarded the Eisner Prize. Those of us who went to Cal know this is the honor afforded to the top designer in a graduating class. Cheng went on to apprentice at some of the most highly regarded firms in the Bay Area. At Shah Kawasaki Architects, it is Cheng that patiently teaches our recent graduates the craft of architecture. His dedication to our profession is so appreciated by us all.”

Currently, Cheng is working his magic on the Central Bay Operations and Maintenance Facility for the Alameda Water Emergency Transportation Authority.
